CAMERA SHOTS
ESTABLISHING SHOT
The purpose of the establishing shot is to depict the surrounding landscape or environment. This original shot establishes where the pictures are being taken.
AERIAL SHOT
Aerial shots look down on a scene or characters. My original photo represents the aerial shot as the shot is looking down at my picture subject.
LONG SHOT
When the whole body of the person or figure is in the frame, this is called a long shot. The long shot also clearly shows the background of the figure.
WIDE SHOT
Wide shot allows for viewers to read the body language of different characters and how they interact with each other. My wide shot is the jrotc marching and the viewer can clearly read their body language.
