This is part of 2 of the camera shots lesson that is intended to teach us how to use different camera shots and what different camera shots purpose is. This will be a valuable lesson when putting together our magazine. 

                                                                        Mid shot


Audience is able to read body language.


Close up shot

Allows audience to read character's facial expressions and body language.

Over the shoulder shot

Typically used in conversations to allow audience to feel like they are a part of the conversation.

Syllabus reflection

  Media studies is an international AICE course, it is a course that is focused on today’s important topics like fashion, sports, music, film, radio and podcasts, print, etc. I’m looking forward to the research we must do to create our blogs and magazines, another thing about this course that i am interested in is finding out what media skills that i can learn and finding out how i will be able to apply them in my everyday life. There are some aspects of the course that make me nervous such as the process of making the blogs , another aspect of the course that makes me nervous is the grading standards that we will be held up to as this is a Cambridge class. My biggest worry though is whether i will pass the final exam or not.   I hope to gain a deeper understanding of media related products that we use in our everyday lives.   "created with canva"
